In May 2019, South West Laundry installed a new medium pressure gas main, to replace our low pressure main. It will supply enough gas to run our driers and steam boiler which was being supplied with kerosene oil. This makes our factory processes leaner and greener.
In September 2018, Operations Director Wayne Retallack (pictured with host Kate Thornton) was named Laundry and Cleaning News Entrepreneur of the Year. This a national award to recognise Wayne’s achievements with South West Laundry throughout the previous 12 months.
2018 Customer Satisfaction Survey
In September 2018 the Johnsons Service Group conducted a customer survey to find that South West Laundry had a group-topping score of 92.5%. The score rates us amongst the top business service delivery companies. The categories included; cleanliness of the items delivered, value for money, quality of the goods delivered, availability of products, service response and completion and accuracy of deliveries made. A massive 97.4% of our customers reported that they were satisfied or very satisfied with our performance.
In November 2018, South West Laundry appointed a dedicated field Customer Service rep. Keith Holly, who has been working for the company in a variety of roles with since 2007, has been using his wealth of internal knowledge and experience to help the company maintain and build the exceptional service and relationships that we have with our customers across Devon & Cornwall.
